Career

Over
one thousand companies and recruiting firms have been invited to attend
UCLA's two major career fairs held in Fall and Winter Quarters. The most
effective way to inform UCLA scholars about employment is through the
UCLA Daily Bruin Classified Recruitment Section. The Daily Bruin
will publish two Career Guides that coincide with the career fairs and
cover many employment issues that students will encounter. Articles like
"How to Conduct an Effective Job Search," "What to Say in an Interview"
and "What Companies are Hot" are some of the topics covered in these special
issues. UCLA has an average of 8,200 graduates from an array of majors
each year. The task is to help recruiters seek out the sharp, competent
and creative minds of the UCLA graduate pool and have them recognize who
the players are.
